Like a hummingbird in silence
Historically, the most terrible things – war, genocide, and slavery – have resulted not from disobedience, but from obedience.

If you look at the fact that you have a roof over your head, food to eat, that you are young and beautiful and live in a peaceful land, then no, you have nothing to be sad about. But the fact is, we are not only a physical body, we have souls too, and sometimes our souls get sick. If you break a leg you don’t just say ‘I have no reason to have a broken leg’ and ignore it; you seek help. It’s the same when your soul gets hurt. Don’t apologize for being sad.

I need to end this violence
In this place that I call home
I need to hear some silence
Silence in me
So I say goodnight
To dreams that won’t be realized
I can’t sleep with desperation
By my side
The memories start to fade
Now I live for better days

My head is swelling up with bad ideas,
I’ve grown to be a defunct kid,
And all my past times are boring me now,
Someone please get me the hell out of here,
Where these ignorant dicks have no idea,
How I feel about them now.

-For all the wrong reasons, Ive given up on giving up
